2. Track Shoe Material
When need to change the new track shoe, we need to think wear resistance and long service life. As everyone knows, Track shoes for different tonnage use different materials.
Hitachi KH150-2 Track Padused for 40Ton crawler crane. The material usually be 35SiMn. Like KH70, KH100, KH100, KH125, KH150, KH180, KH230, etc.
For KH700-2 Track Pad, it also used for Hitachi crawler crane, but for 150ton machinery. So, the material should be changed to 28CrMnMo. If still use 35SiMn to produce, the track shoe will be worn easily and with short service life.
3. Track Group
The track shoes can be linked with pin, bolt & nut. Then will become track group. One crawler crane usually need two track groups. The technology for Hitachi KH150-2 Track Pad and KH700-2 Track Pad are heat treated, quenching and tempering, that can help prolong their service life.
