3. Introduction
The HITACHI CX900 idlers mainly composed of wheel axle, guide wheel boards, guide wheel body and some standard parts (like: iron sets, cylindrical pin, bimetal bushings, bolts, springs, gasket, oil seal, float oil ring, O ring, etc).
The idler wheel is not powered, just like an idler gear. Although it technically reverses the tracks direction (but not its rotation), this has nothing to do with the term "idler".
