Operation principle:
The Manitowoc 4000 idler assy is used on crawler frame, it contains idler assy and spring. When Manitowoc 4000 machine work, the M4000 idler is in the front, the spring absorbs the impact of the front dent, reducing wear and avoiding abnormal wear of the track shoe assembly.
2. Daily maintenance
a. Hold the right tensioning of Manitowoc 4000 track shoe. If its track shoe is settled too tight, under the force of the tensioning spring, the idler shaft, bushings, track shoe and pin will all accelerated wear, and then cause the elongation of Manitowoc 4000 track shoe pitch.
b. Keep the M4000 idler alignment, if not, will leads to abnormal wear of other parts.
