4. Maintenance drive wheel
If the LS218RH drive wheel is severely worn, it should be repaired by welding or replaced with a new gear.
Therefore, when operating the crawler crane, the following points must be taken into account:
A). Keep the track shoe unit tensioned. The mating surface of the drive sprocket of the LS218RH crawler crane will wear abnormally when excessive tension occurs that increases the pitch of the trackpad.
B). Tighten the sprocket bolts and nuts and drive the reducer. If the sprocket bolt and nut become loose, the mating surface of the sprocket and track shoe will be abnormally worn, which will shorten the life of the Sumitomo LS218RH crawler crane sprocket and bolt and nut.
