After 6 months of testing, the Manitowoc 18000 Track Rollers assembly were started to produce in mass this Monday. And the first batch of 28 rollers was produced within 35 days.
This M18000 lower roller was discussed with one of our customers in September 2021. That took nearly 3 weeks to confirm the details, like, material, and warranty terms, then we produced 3 rollers
After 3 weeks of discussing the details, we started to produce 2 rollers as samples for customers to test. In November 2021, the customer received the 2 pcs samples, and then they started to test them, including Chemical Analysis, Destructive Testing, metallographic analysis, Load test, and so on.
At the end of April, we received the test result from the customer and adjusted some small details, last week, we got the formal P.O. from the customer.
Customers are very professional in this industry, so most things are communicated smoothly, and problems are solved in time. Through this cooperation with such a professional customer, what we get is not only an order but also some new ideas for our products and services.
Anyway, the photos of the Bottom roller for the Manitowoc 18000, the 825USTon crawler crane will be shown after finishing.

About the M18000 Crawler Crane:
How many tons is a Manitowoc 18000?
The Model 18000 can lift up to 750 t (825 USt) with MAX-ER striking the ultimate balance between brute strength and ease of mobility to deliver high capacity and a compact footprint.
And Crawler assemblies are 11,81 m (38' 9") long with 1,52 m (5') wide cast steel crawler pads and lubricated intermediate rollers. Each crawler is powered independently by two variable displacement hydraulic motors and includes two hydraulically powered pin actuators for fast installation and removal from carbody. Carbody-mounted drive motors are connected to crawler final reduction via drive shafts. Crawlers provide ample tractive effort allowing counter-rotation with full rated load.
