The first is raw materials. There are two common raw materials on the market: round steel and square steel. Among them, round steel has much better mechanical properties than square steel because it has been rolled. Therefore, round steel is more suitable for use as raw material for track rollers, although its The price is more expensive.
Usually, we choose to use 40Mn2 and 42CrMn round steel to produce rollers, that are hard-wearing, and can extend the roller's service life.
The second point is the copper sleeve used for the crawler crane track roller. The copper sleeve is an anti-wear device. Since the material of copper is softer than steel, it can reduce the friction between the wheel body and the shaft during the rotation of the roller, and play a role in reducing friction. When the friction force is large and the wear is serious, the copper sleeve is worn first, not the shaft and the wheel body, which can increase the service life of the wheel body. So, that should choose the 100% fine cooper Bushing instead of duplex metal (Iron and Cooper). Usually, our track rollers use the cooper bushing with 6-10mm thickness.
The Third is Floating seals and Pin. 100% Match the Roller, and after running adaption , the Oil will not spill out from roller
The last one is Production Process. The most important process is Hardening and Tempering, if the rollers are not undergo Hardening and tempering, its mechanical Properties, Yield Strength and Tensile Strength will not be very good, the roller will be slip easily during work.
